The tasting is $50, complimentary with any order over $300, which covers every multi-tier wedding cake I make. Choosing a wedding cake should be the sweetest decision you make. You sample flavors from the Sweet E’s menu before you commit to a design, and we sketch your cake together in the same sitting, in person or by phone or video. Review pricing first if you like, then book your tasting.

Every design below was chosen flavor first. Couples tasted, then we built the cake around the flavors they loved and the venue they had booked.
What a Wedding Cake Tasting Box Includes
The tasting box holds the same tasting I serve in the studio: three cakes and three fillings from the signature menu, chosen when you book or left to my current favorites for your season. Taste them side by side at home, note what you both reach for twice, and then we design together by phone or video, with your venue, florals, and palette in front of us. Extra samples are $10 each if you would like to taste beyond the three and three.
The studio tasting is the same three cakes and three fillings at a private appointment in Provo, about an hour, with your cake sketched in the same sitting. Either way, the $50 fee is complimentary on orders over $300, so for every multi-tier wedding cake the tasting folds into the booking. Ask about dietary accommodations during your inquiry.

What is a wedding cake tasting at Sweet E’s like?
A Sweet E’s tasting is a private appointment in Provo where you sample three cakes and three fillings and design your cake in the same sitting. Tastings run about an hour, the fee is $50, and it is complimentary on orders over $300. Couples travelling from outside Utah County can ask about a tasting box instead.

How far in advance should I book a tasting?
Two to four months before your wedding is ideal, and earlier for summer dates. Popular weekends book out, so the sooner your tasting, the more likely your date is still open.
Can we choose a different flavor for each tier?
Yes. Each tier can carry its own cake and filling from the signature menu, and the tasting is where we choose them together.
